B.O.B Slimes

Student: Morgan Fude

This artwork explores branding and packaging design through the creation of Bob Slimes; an inspired product rooted in personal interest and pop-culture influence. The concept combines my love for slime with inspiration drawn from the character Bob in Monsters vs. Aliens, whose playful, amorphous personality helped shape the visual direction of the brand. The logo and label are designed to feel fun, and approachable reflecting the lighthearted nature of both slime as a product and Bob as a character. Bold colors, rounded shapes, and simple graphic elements were used to communicate softness, movement, and creativity. The packaging is meant to appeal to a younger audience while still feeling cohesive and marketable. Overall, this piece demonstrates how character inspiration and personal interests can be translated into effective branding, showing an understanding of visual identity, product appeal, and storytelling through design.
