Independent Study "Photoshop" Brutalism Poster
Student: Emily Gankema
This was part of my independent study for Photoshop in Spring 2025. I thought of designing a poster through with a theme of Liminal Space and Brutalism as an experiment because I've seen where graphic designers create flyers/posters with style called Brutalism. A raw, unpolished, and anti-corporate style that emerged during the 2010s. Where Liminal Space evokes the feelings of unease, nostalgia, and surrealism that depicts the transitional/empty places.
